Value of collaboration at Conferences - issues not discussed formally at conferences often get aired at lunch!



  • Which is the best library management system to use?
  • Staffing in libraries - how do we go forward when we are alone?
  • Librarians need recognition as a valuable "resource" 
  • Mean Management (aka MM, so as not to get sued for defamation)
  • Budgets for e-books and beyond...

    I feel your pain!I hope that this will not be a topic discussed at lunch every time we have a conference. MM's rule!

    To move forward you need to involve the other staff members at school. Bring in your IT department to help with becoming multi modal, bring in your Music dept and arrange a little show at break time to encourage the learners to visit the library. There are so many options!
